The ultimate goal when breeding our Basset Hounds is to produce healthy Bassets with excellent temperaments and correct structure, and to produce a better example of the breed with each generation. As dedicated breeders, participation in conformation shows is a way to showcase our breeding program and have our dogs evaluated against the official standard of the Basset Hound. It is a way to have our breeding stock objectively evaluated by judges who are independant of our breeding program.
